sam Moore
served in the United States Marine Corps from 2007-2012 as a Combat Photographer. Her two duty stations were Okinawa, Japan and San Diego, CA. She decided to leave the Marine Corps to focus on her family and education. A year after she relocated from California to Virginia, she attended John Tyler Community College (JTCC) and graduated with her Associates in Applied Arts. While attending JTCC she met fellow veteran and board member Jon “JB” Burnley who introduced her to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
While juggling school and raising her daughters, she is currently working on strengthening her portfolio by working on designs and photography. Sam is excited to be apart of this organization and looking forward to helping other veterans in need.
